Track simplification

Percorso cicloturistico facile.

The tour starts from Piazza Vittorio Emanuele.

We move on the main road, Via Garibaldi, for a 100 meters, than turn left into Via IV Novembre.
At the roundabout, cross the road straightforward. You will find the police station at your right. We cross the next road and slightly start going uphill. After few meters we find the first sign, right turn in Via Rillosi, showing the way for the bike lane Salò-Lonato.
We keep following the sings until we soon reach the bike lane, up besides the main road to Desenzano, Via del Panorama. We keep riding on this lane.

By the Hotel Panoramica, we cross the road and follow the bike lane left of the hotel, instead of following the roadsign to Lonato.
After about 1 Km, we find a big roundabout on the left.
We cross the road moving on the other side, the bike lane continue to Cisano ( left down ) and Desenzano ( right up )
We go left.
After few meters we have to go on the main road again for about 200 meters.
Keep going on the road and then turn left direction Cisano – Camping Weekend ( left down ).
After the first right-bend, keep your right and go up through the houses of this small, very charming village.
At the end of the street, turn right up few meters and find on your left the red/blue sign for the bike path to “Cisano-Baia del Vento”.

Now you can just follow bike path directions, leading you through olive groves and offering fantastic views over the lake.
The path will bring you to the beach of “Baia del Vento”, where you can relax by the lake and have a drink.
Optionally we can continue on the lane and reach San Felice del Benaco.

The way back will be mostly on the main road, even though this will be a low traffic road.
Back from the beach, at the top of the road/parking, we now turn right on the road, way back to Portese and Salò.
Once reached the village of Portese ( coming across Pizzeria "Cariola Sbüsa" on your left ) we keep straight forward, 300 Mt. slightly uphill.

The main road makes now a large bend right. You we have the option to continue on the main road, all downhill, reaching the beach of Salo, or crossing left by a small shrine, towards Cisano ( Via del Pozzo, signs to Palazzo Cominelli),
where we can find again the path we came from at the beginning.

Once in Salò again, reached the police station again ( now on your left ) turn right down at next roundabout, than take the first way left ( Via Gasparo ) towards town centre.
