Gibson - Squamish
In the morning, we leave the coastal region for the interior lands and the coastal mountains. Here we take another ferry to join the Sea to Sky Highway and the original sites that made British Colombia famous.
As our first foray into the mountains, we stop at Squamish, a small town at the end of Howe Sound Fjord. Here we find the most beautiful trails of Canada, with over 200km of singletrack. It’s the kingdom of granite slab and trails so well-constructed that you won’t even realize you’re going uphill! The difficulty level increases substantially and will definitely push you out of your comfort zone. Here, endurance is the name of the game. But rest assured, there is usually a way to bypass obstacles.
At the end of the day we continue our way to Whistler where we stay for three nights.
