Altitude Profile (527 ft to 855 ft)
12.5 mile circular route along bridle track, single track, B roads through some quaint little villages enroute and different country scenary from the usual ridgeway. This is not a technical trail by any means. Beware of cattle when approaching North Cerney around N51 45.933 W 001 58.071 if anticlockwise (mostly young with mothers but bull also in field although didnt even bother to look at us). Advise you walk through field not ride so they dont get too excited or take the road detour to the right to miss them all. The final leg took us past the polo fields on the Bathurst Estate and we then went through the north edge of the estate grounds on side track. There is a notice No Cycles so its your call but definately walk the last bit to the big gates and castle.
