Altitude Profile (1,010 ft to 6,266 ft)
Going up and down the Mont Ventoux by mountainbike. Start is in the centre of Bedoin.
As little as possible asphalt, just the last kilometers to the top, passing the Simpson monument. Most of the way up is on rough sandy/rocky fire road. All of it can be be done on the bike.
Going down starts really rough trough a field of boulders, but afters some kilometers the track gets more flowy and really fast.
A full suspension bike isrecommended. And some protection too for the first section going down (or just take it easy).
When going up there is little shadow, so leave early on hot days.
