Altitude Profile (2,100 ft to 2,635 ft)
Welcome to the capital of mountain biking! Whistler actually gained its status in the late 1990’s as the Mecca of mountain biking in North America.
It must be noted that Whistler is primarily the benchmark for “intelligent planning”. The trails here make it fun and accessible to practice new mountain biking. They are designed to allow for improving your skills as a cyclist in a delightful setting of beautiful and striking forest. Viewpoints give way to the elegant surrounding glaciers. Your guide will choose a range of trails according to the group’s abilities. In the afternoon, you can choose to visit the Olympic village or take to the slopes. Evening and dinner on own in Whistler. Same lodging as the previous night.
Optional activity: Whistler, the all-season resort, offers over 250km of trails in 1200m of elevation change. If a minimum number of participants is interested, we can arrange for a downhill day on the slopes of Whistler for which we would need to purchase a day pass for the ski lift and rent bicycles and equipment suitable for this type of sport.
