Description

Ausgangspunkt ist wie bei den meisten anderen Siebengebirgsstrecken, die hier von mir beschrieben sind, der Talausgang des Nachtigallentals in Königswinter. Von da aus durch den Ort und die Weinberge südwärts nach Rhöndorf und danach nach Bad Honnef-Rommersdorf. Von dort gehts durch's Annatal an einem Bach entlang aufwärts ins Gebirge. Strecke wird im weiteren Verlauf ein bisschen steiler und man erreicht früher oder später glücklich den Löwenburg-Gipfel (mit 455 der zweithöchste im Siebengebirge) mit wunderschöner Weitsicht in die Eifel und Richtung Köln (und mindestens heute morgen massiven Laufbehinderungen durch Glatteis und Schnee...). Zurück geht's dann meistens bergab via Margarethenhöhe und Milchhäuschen wieder ins schöne Nachtigallental, wo man die letzten 2 km zum Ziel mit Vollgas bergab laufen kann.
