Track simplification

This route incorporates Hyde Park, Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace – two must-see landmarks for anyone passing through London. Starting at the Marble Arch (top right hand corner of the park), make your way along the top of the park and then turn left once you’re near the end. Heading down the left hand side of the park you’ll come up to Kensington Palace. Stick to the edges of the park and you’ll also see the famous Royal Albert Hall and the xx memorial statue. Turn left and head up towards the Serpentine and follow the edge of the lake until you reach the bottom right hand corner of the park. From here it’s just a short stretch to Buckingham Palace and you’ll then finish running along the Mall – as they finish in the world-famous London Marathon. This route doesn’t start and end in the same place, but in London there are tube stations everywhere, so you can always get where you’re going easily and quickly.
