Die “blaue Silvretta” mit ihren etwa 70 Dreitausendern gehört mit zu den bekanntesten Gletschergebirgen des Alpenhauptkamms.
Die Silvretta Hochalpenstraße verbindet das Montafon (Vorarlberg) mit dem Paznauntal (Nordtirol) und schlängelt sich sanft in mehr als 30 Kehren auf der Westrampe aber lediglich 2 Kehren auf der Ostrampe
bis zum Scheitelpunkt der "Bielerhöhe".
