Altitude Profile (1,801 ft to 2,948 ft)
Trail is very nice, easy on lower parts. After you climb the trail to above the falls, the trail gets increasingly difficult to follow due to debris and overgrowth from unuse after the Station Fire. Definitely a secluded hike mid-week, and probably on the weekends beyond the falls. You can camp at Tom Lucas Trail Camp, there is 1 fire ring. Check with Rangers before you actually do this though, I'm sure a permit is required.
